A band doesn't have to be around for many years to be exceptional. Such is the case of the William Joseph Band from Tulsa, OK. Though the current band formed only a few months ago, they have already begun to make a name for themselves. The combined experience of each band member provides accumalitive years of experience. The evidence of their expertise is in their performance.
Only a few months old, the WJB competed in a Battle of the Bands over Labor Day weekend at the Silver Dollar Cafe in Collinsville, OK. With a total of 20 bands competing, the WJB tied for 2nd place with another local Tulsa band, The Last Slice. Because of WJB's performance, the Silver Dollar Cafe has already booked them for three more shows this fall, adding to their already busy schedule of performances.
The William Joseph Band is a four piece groove rock band that loves to entertain fans and make new ones. Already, they have played at serveral shows and venues throughout Tulsa with many more coming, including a TV spot in September on the "Up Late Show". They have two self-produced CD's available on Amazon.com, iTunes, and CD Baby. Their original groove rock music is lyrically and vocally driven. They also play covers as well.
