JukeZoo.com is a music community site that provides live webcasts of music events, chat, and membership...all for FREE! Since our launch on February 15, 2009, we have broadcasted over 300 bands in 35 different venues including Bikelahoma, Rocklahoma, and the Dusk 'Til Dawn Blues Festival. Musicians have obtained paid gigs and national recognition from booking agents, record labels, and many new fans because of our webcasts.
Because our initial investors backed out when the economy took a nose-dive, our original plans to be self-sufficient were put on hold due to a lack of funding. However, we have still managed to provide a FREE service to our music community for the past year.
Why We Need Your Help
As you know, no business can continue to operate without expenses. We need your help to continue developing our interactive music commnunity with live online video broadcasts of music events. JukeZoo.com promotes both mainstream & indie musicians (signed/unsigned), promoters, venues, agents, labels, crew technicians, and anyone else in the music industry. JukeZoo.com competes with major social sites like facebook, myspace, and youtube with membership profiles. The site is currently in beta form with over 8300 members and has operated on a shoestring budget. Other facets to be completed include internet radio, shopping cart for bands and us, music related games, and editable online press kits.
We are presently broadcasting (with chat) to a worlwide audience including our military overseas. Our goals are to have 24/7 live broadcasts of all genres from around the world and to be the number one hotspot for the music industry.
While bands, venues, and promoters are able to broadcast their own live events, our own production goals are to have higher quality pay-per-view webcasts with multiple cameras of major events and national artists. We also would like to have our own festivals, concerts, and contests (with online voting) to promote the music industry as well as offer artist development, booking, promotions, and a record label.
We need the operating capital to purchase necessary equipment, cdn accounts, salaries, legal fees, licensing, and advertising/marketing. Your donations can help us to accomplish these goals and become self-sufficient once again.
