Enough cannot be said or done to show our true appreciation and gratitude to the men and women who have served and are serving our country in the U.S. military.
We at JukeZoo.com have decided to do what we can to provide moral support to our military and their families. With our live webcasting capabilities, we offer not only live entertainment from home, but also opportunities for families and friends to say something to their loved ones overseas during the live webcast.
We also get other organizations involved that support our military and veterans such as Blue Star Mothers, Native American Warrior Society, Eagle's Nest IMB, and others. We are currently working on other events that will both entertain the troops and provide fundraising opportunities for these non-profit organizations that support our military.
JukeZoo has had the privilege to have already worked with and support these organizations. We host an annual fundraiser for Native American Warriors Society the third Saturday of February at 727 Club in Tulsa. We've also helped N.A.W.S. with their 1st annual Red, White, and G.I. Blues fundraiser and their annual Gourd Dance Benefits. We provide a free live webcast and DVDs of all of these events to send to our Native American troops overseas.
We've also raised funds for the Blue Star Mothers with our G.I. Jam Benefit in September of 2010, a concert of Thomas Martinez in April of 2011 (of which we sent 500 DVDs to our troops), as well as fundraising concerts with Kinsey Sadler for the Bartlesville and Southeast Kansas chapters.
Every live webcast that we do always includes a "shout-out" to our troops to let you know that we are thinking of you and supporting you. By the way, the word "troops" is used generically to encompass ALL military personnel. Whether you are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, or Coast Guard, the term "troops" refers to YOU.
Every week we broadcast the American Hero Jam, a live show dedicated to our troops and veterans and a fundraiser for the VA Medical Center in Memphis, TN; Military Monday Blues Show, a live show dedicated to our troops & veterans and an opportunity for local veteran support organizations to publicize their services.
